Moonlight Canoe Trips

Our Moonlight Canoe trips are held during a full moon along the beautiful Chestatee river. This trip provides a unique opportunity to experience the sights, sounds and cool river breezes you just don't get during the day! Plus, the Moonlight trip is held on the gentler, "lower" section of the Chestatee (below the GA 400 takeout) so you're assured of a truly unique experience! We highly suggest taking advantage of our free picnic area and enjoy dinner along the banks before hitting the water!

Moonlight Trip: $28 per person.

Camping on the Chestatee

Spend a night on the river! We offer a variety of canoe camping trips to make for a grand adventure on the water!
These trips are great for large groups and offer a chance to truly "get away from it all".

Short Overnighter on the Chestatee:
 Leaving at 3:00 pm you'll paddle down to the "Big Bend" camping area where you will stay overnight. Campers will be picked up by noon the following day at the Hwy. 400 take out.
 Chestatee Short Overnighter - $52.00 Per Canoe

Grand Adventure Along the Etowah and Chestatee:
Paddle the Etowah River Saturday morning, move to the Chestatee in the afternoon and camp out at the "Big Bend". You'll be picked up at the take-out Sunday morning.
- OR -
Begin at the Chestatee Saturday afternoon, camp at the "Big Bend" take out the next morning and head to the Etowah Sunday afternoon.
